Aeroflow Ford Cleveland Bypass Restrictor Plate Bronze Thermostat Plate

This bypass restrictor plate from Aeroflow is designed to suit Ford Cleveland 351 engine blocks. This bypass plate is pressed into the block directly under the thermostat, required for correct thermostat operation and help make the cooling system effective. It is machined from solid brass for precision & longevity. The inside dimension is .750″ which is equal to the original restrictor found in all Ford Cleveland blocks. A thermostat is required in order to partially close off the orifice when the thermostat opens, so as to direct the flow of water into the radiator rather than take the easier route and recirculate coolant within the block itself.
