Aeroflow Water to Air Intercooler for Modular Intake Manifold 2-3/4" Tall, Raw CNC Finish

A water to air intercooler is one where the exchange of heat occurs between water and air. Water is passed through the core of the intercooler instead of air which is responsible for drawing the heat out of the intake air through the intercooler so that the heat from your charge pipes is transferred to the water.
These water to air intercoolers are specifically designed to suit the Aeroflow Performance range of modular intake manifolds. Designed to be sandwiched between the modular base and top plate which are both sold separately. This water to air intercooler features 4 x -16ORB ports for the water to be plumbed into it. This is a great alternative to your conventional air to air intercoolers as you have a constant flow of cool water always circulating through the intercooler core. This is especially useful during drag racing, when the core temperature raises significantly during a pass, and then the car sits still for several minutes.
Another bonus is the incredible low pressure drop this water to air intercoolers provide with as low as 0.05 psi recorded on the core. This intercooler core is encased in a full CNC machined billet outer case which is available in either raw or black anodized finish. It comes with mounting hardware to bolt directly to the modular intake manifolds in the Aeroflow Performance range.
