Aeroflow Ford Falcon Front Mount Intercooler Kit Suits Ford Falcon Inline 6 Cylinder Turbocharger Barra Engine

The Aeroflow upgraded front mount intercooler kit is designed to suit the Ford Falcon XR6 FG models with inline 6-cylinder turbo Barra engine. This kit comes with our popular high flowing tube and fin race series powdered coated black front mount intercooler which features a core size of 375mm wide x 395mm high and 63mm thick, this allows for smooth flow and effective cooling of the charge air entering the engine with a meaningful increase in capacity over the factory unit, which can become a restriction a certain power levels.

This bolt on kit utilizes the largest possible piping design for both the hot side and cold side of the engine, all piping is mandrel bent aluminium which is powdered coated black, all silicone hoses are supplied in black with our constant tension dual bead hose clamps in black to ensure all hoses are secured.

This kit eliminates the factory rubber hose that goes from the front mount intercooler to the turbocharger elbow, this means the car is hard piped from the throttle body, all the way to the turbocharger elbow, hard piping allows for greater air flow, and its aluminium construction won’t collapse or flex under boost like a factory rubber hose.

NOTE: this kit doesn’t include an upgraded cast turbo inlet elbow which is sold separately (AF2045-1002). We recommend this intercooler kit to support up to 700 horsepower.

No MAJOR metal cutting is required for fitment, only some minor trimming for installation.
